KAN-therm Push wallplate elbow
A KAN-therm Push wallplate elbow is a fixed wall outlet of the KAN-therm Push system with a female thread for a mixer, tap or radiator angle valve on a concealed run. On the pipe side the joint is made with a sliding sleeve: the expanded PE-Xc or PE-RT end is pushed onto the spigot, then the ring locks the connection without a separate O-ring on the pipe side. The threaded outlet is set flush with the finished wall, and the body is fixed to the substrate so it does not shift during plastering. A wrong pipe size, projection or thread type only shows after the chase is closed, so the fitting is selected before finishing.
Main types
This group covers fixed wall elbows for tap points, not straight couplings used in the distribution run. The PPSU wallplate elbow is supplied with a short plastic plug and a fixing nut. The body is lighter than metal, does not corrode in a damp chase and suits a bathroom or kitchen mixer. The brass version uses the same pipes and female thread but holds the tightening torque of heavier fixtures more securely. Brass items come in short and long projection: the short body fits a thin partition, the longer one brings the outlet closer to the finished face. The plug in the set is for the pressure test only and is not a permanent blank.
Materials and construction
Bodies are made of PPSU or brass. Polyphenylsulfone keeps its shape in hot water and heating and does not leave corrosion deposits in a closed recess. Brass is chosen where thread stiffness and resistance to tightening matter. The pipe end is designed for a brass or PVDF sliding ring matched to the pipe diameter. The outlet is a female parallel thread, typically G1/2. It must not be paired with a male taper thread from a non-system part. Chemically aggressive adhesives are not used on PPSU; the thread is sealed with hemp and paste, without excess fibre.
Where it is used
The wall outlet is used on internal cold and hot water systems and on heating in houses, apartments and commercial rooms. The usual node is a pair of elbows for a mixer, spaced to the fixture. The second case is a chase outlet for a radiator angle valve when the pipe comes from the wall. The fitting does not replace a mains fitting and is not intended for outdoor networks.
How to select
Match pipe outside diameter and wall thickness first: 12×2, 14×2 and 18×2.5 are the common Push sizes. The mixer elbow must match the pipe, not the nearest size. Most domestic mixers and angle valves need a female G1/2. Projection is chosen against wall thickness and the finish layer. On drywall the body is fixed with a mounting plate; on brick or concrete, with the standard fixing. Before the chase is closed, the circuit is tested with the short plug, which is then removed. Temperature and pressure limits are taken from the data sheet of the specific item. Price depends on material, diameter and projection.
Why order from Piping Systems of Ukraine
A KAN-therm Push wallplate elbow can be ordered with the pipe, sliding sleeve and related fittings so diameters match on site. The team checks the mixer or radiator version and confirms stock and price before dispatch. We supply contractors and private buyers, wholesale and retail, with delivery across Ukraine, including Kyiv. Supporting documents for a specific item can be requested from the supplier.

FAQ
How does a KAN-therm Push wallplate elbow differ from a standard Push elbow?
The wallplate elbow is a fixed wall outlet with fixing points and a female thread for the fixture. A standard elbow only changes pipe direction and does not hold a mixer in the wall plane. A tap point needs the wall version with a mounting plate or the standard fixing.
Can the short plastic plug stay in place permanently?
No. The short plug in the set is for the pressure test only. After the test it is removed and the mixer, tap or angle valve is fitted. A permanent shut-off needs a proper system valve.
PPSU or brass under a mixer?
PPSU suits a damp chase where corrosion resistance and lower weight matter. Brass holds the tightening torque of a heavy fixture and repeated thread service better. Both work with PE-Xc and PE-RT of the same system if the diameter matches.
Why not screw a male taper thread into the G1/2?
The outlet is a female parallel thread. Pairing it with a male taper thread from a non-system part does not seal correctly and can damage a polymer body. Use a male parallel thread and seal with hemp and paste, without excess.
What do 14×2 and 18×2.5 mean?
The first figure is the pipe outside diameter, the second is wall thickness. Elbow, pipe and sliding ring must be the same size: 12×2, 14×2 or 18×2.5. The brass or PVDF ring is ordered separately for that diameter.
